Link to Judo Journal on Amazon. It's encouraged that students keep a journal to keep track of their time in grade (TIG). Promotions and testings are eligible based on a combination of aptitude, maturity, and TIG. As such, tracking a student's attendance can be key to their eligibility to testing and their progression.

We provide academic testing and promotion thru the United States Judo Association (USJA) Link to USJA Membership: Santa Rosa Judo Club is club #Ca4553. when your child reaches the point where they are ready to progress to the next rank they will need a membership number with the USJA to register rank promotion. Their USJA membership number must accompany their application for promotion.

Fuji Single Weave Judogi. Good option if you need a Judogi and the HSU is sold out. *White Judogi is always needed. Blue Judogi is only recommended as a secondary Judogi for those already in possession of a white Judogi.

Fuji Euro Comp Judogi. Good option if you need a Judogi that mimics the IJF standard weight but do not require IJF certification. *White Judogi is always needed. Blue Judogi is only recommended as a secondary Judogi for those already in possession of a white Judogi.
