We've tried the ProForce Gladiator Judogi and I must say, it has been a complete disappointment. The overall quality of this judogi is simply terrible, especially when compared to other options on the market. I feel compelled to share my experience and warn others about this subpar product.
Let's start with the top. While there is nothing inherently wrong with it, there is also nothing remarkable about it either. It feels like a generic, run-of-the-mill judogi that fails to stand out in any way.
However, it's the pants where everything falls apart, quite literally. I have tried this judogi on several occasions, both for adults and children, and each time the same issue arises. Within the first practice session, without fail, the belt loop tears off. This is beyond frustrating and speaks volumes about the abysmal quality control of ProForce. It's unacceptable for ProForce to not address this known issue that's so minor and easily fixed.
What makes matters even worse is the price point of these judogi. They are often priced higher than other reputable beginner uniform options such as the Fuji single weave or HSU single weave. It is mind-boggling how ProForce justifies charging a premium for a product that is clearly inferior in both quality and durability.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against wasting your hard-earned money on the ProForce Gladiator Judogi. Its quality is atrocious, particularly evident in the consistently torn belt loops. For the same price or even less, you can find much better options in the market. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and opt for a different judogi brand altogether.
